It's in the herbst theatre, in the CAC. i love that theatre. nothing but a huge room, it's where they practice. sometimes they have things there, but not often at all. but they have this old piano, that sucks, and has keys that dont' play well anymore, but it works to practice alone with accoustics.

old pianos that barely work are spooky great! especially when you play a child's song in the dark.
:iconczerniana:
heh. i like to think that i can play better than childrens songs in the dark ;)

but a beautiful instrument that is one of the epitomies of craftsmanship, just look at how perfectly straight all those keys are in the amazing depth inthis shot, the age of the wood that is well used and most likely wayyy older than me, makes one think of the history of this particular instrument, and the men who crafted it, as well as all the hands that have trounced and caressed the keys over its long life,
wonderful shot, I like the stark reality as well as the graceful portrayal all wrapped in one,

kindest regards,
joe
